Meet Our Team

Chad Patterson, LCSW

Getting started is the hard bit. Many of my clients tell me that on the day they reached out, they were overwhelmed and tired and maybe not a little skeptical that therapy would actually do anything to help.

I get it. Been there. That’s why I use processes and tools that have decades of research showing that they work and how they work. Of course, nothing in life is a guarantee, but we’re not just wingin’ it.

Our conversations will feel safe if not often comfortable. And you’ll be able to trace changes in your experience against the goals we agree to in our first two sessions.

This is more than a friendly chat or an effort “to talk it out.” This is a process to see real and durable change.

It can be overwhelming to start therapy. You know you need it, and you want to feel better. Yet the thought of being that vulnerable is scary.

I am passionate about creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment where clients you feel seen, heard, and valued.

My goal is to foster a therapeutic space where healing, growth, and self-discovery can take place, and I am grateful to be part of the larger story unfolding in each client’s your life.

My interest in mental health began early, growing up in a home where conversations around emotional wellness were encouraged. This foundation led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University. I am committed to ongoing learning as I grow in clinical skills and compassion for those I serve.

Client Focus:

Adults, children (8+), and youth.

Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog, Malibu, connecting with friends and family, and exploring new hobbies that bring creativity and joy to my life.

I’ve been a registered nurse for more than 25 years, serving in a variety of healthcare settings. Over that time, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside children, parents, and families, as well as guiding clinical teams. My passion lies in helping families find their way through complex needs with care and clarity.

As both a nurse and a mom of five, I deeply understand how important it is to have support that feels both practical and compassionate. In our practice, I take care of the behind-the-scenes details—scheduling, insurance, funding questions—so you can focus on the therapy process without added stress.

Care coordination has always been at the heart of nursing, and it’s my joy to make sure you feel welcomed, supported, and informed every step of the way.

I can be reached by call or text at 512.434.0716 or marna@2510collective.com
