Middle School Overcoming Burnout Group
Helping Students Recharge, Reset, and Build Resilience
Middle school can feel like a lot.
New schedules. New friends. New pressures. It’s exciting—but it can also feel overwhelming.
If your student is feeling stressed, exhausted, or just not like themselves, they’re not alone.
This group is here to help.
Overcoming Burnout is a 4-week therapy group designed to help middle schoolers manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and build habits that support their well-being—so they can head into the summer feeling more balanced, confident, and connected.
What We’ll Cover
Each 60-minute session includes an engaging icebreaker, a brief skill-building lesson, and a hands-on activity that helps students explore that week’s theme:
🛑 Week 1: Setting Boundaries
Students learn how to say “no” kindly but confidently—to friends, family, and activities that drain them.
😴 Week 2: Sleep
We explore how rest affects mental health and design a sleep routine that actually works for their lives.
🏃♀️🥗 Week 3: Exercise & Diet
Using movement and food as fuel, we focus on small, doable changes that boost mood and energy.
🤝 Week 4: Social Connection
Students reflect on their friendships and learn how to build strong, healthy relationships.
🎯 Group Goals
Learn practical tools to reduce stress and prevent burnout
Build self-awareness around emotional, social, and physical needs

Help Your Student Feel Like Themselves Again
This isn’t about perfection—it’s about giving middle schoolers space to breathe, learn, and grow in a supportive group of peers.
We get it—life can feel overwhelming.
Middle school can be a lot—homework, sports, friends, family, and activities. Some days you’re on top of it. Other days, it feels like everything’s too much.
Maybe you’re not sleeping well. Perhaps you feel tired, frustrated, or just not like yourself lately.
That’s why we created Overcoming Burnout—a group just for middle schoolers to learn how to handle stress, take care of themselves, and start feeling better.
We’ll talk, play, share, and learn tools to help you feel more calm, more confident, and more like you again.
You don’t have to do it all alone.
Let’s figure it out—together.
