Welcome to Fearless Friends

A trauma-informed, attachment-based Therapy Group for Foster & Adopted Tweens (Ages 10–12), including individual processing sessions with licensed therapists.

Growing up isn’t always easy—especially when your story includes big changes, big feelings, and big questions.

Fearless Friends is a weekly therapy group (with individual processing sessions during the course of the group) for foster and adopted children, ages 10–12, Through connection, play, and support, we help tweens feel brave, seen, and safe—together.

Why Fearless Friends?

Children impacted by foster care or adoption often carry stories that others can’t see—but they don’t have to carry them alone.
Through consistent support and trauma-informed care, this group helps children:

  • Increase self-regulation and coping skills

  • Strengthen relationships and communication

  • Feel more confident, capable, and connected

What We Do:

In Fearless Friends, we combine fun and therapeutic tools to help kids:

  • 🧠 Understand Their Feelings — Learn how to name emotions and handle them with confidence

  • 🤝 Build Trust & Friendships — Practice safe connection with others who “get it”

  • 💪 Grow Inner Strength — Discover their voice, boundaries, and sense of self

  • 🎨 Heal Through Play — Use games, creativity, and movement to feel free and empowered

Every session is designed with compassion, structure, and connection at its core.

Caregiver Involvement:

You matter, too! Caregivers receive weekly updates, simple connection tips, and optional resources so the work in group can grow at home. We’re a team.

Ready to Be Fearless?

Let’s help your child build the trust, tools, and friendships they need to thrive.

We understand that sometimes life feels really big.

Sometimes, we move through hard moments without missing a step. Other times, our hearts and minds can get stuck in feelings like sadness, fear, or anger.

Even when we want to feel better, tough days and restless nights can seem like they’ll never end. Sometimes, those struggles can even make it harder to trust or connect with the people who care for us.

That's why we created Fearless Friends — a place where kids can find support, tools, and connection to help them get "unstuck."
