I know how overwhelming the transition into high school can be, not just for teens, but for parents too.
Middle school may be in the rearview mirror, but many rising 9th grade girls still carry the weight of academic stress, social pressures, shifting identities, and uncertainty about what’s next. Some girls may show it outwardly, while others hold it in—but either way, it can take a toll.
That’s why I created Growing Grounded—a summer therapy group designed specifically for girls entering 9th grade.
This group gives young women a safe, supportive space to:
Understand and manage their emotions
Learn healthy coping and stress-reduction techniques
Build confidence and self-awareness
Strengthen peer connection through shared creative expression
Each session combines open conversation, mindfulness practices, and creative activities to support emotional growth and resilience—so your daughter can feel more grounded heading into high school.
If your child has been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, withdrawn, or just not quite like herself lately, this group can make a real difference.
You don’t have to do this alone—and neither does she.
I’d be honored to walk alongside your daughter in this important transition.
